Do you think all we do is show you houses?

Myth 1. Just because a house is listed with Suzy Sells with XYZ Realty, is that the only Realtor that can sell you that home.

Mythbuster 1. Not true. Any Realtor that is a member of the Multi List Service (MLS) can help you purchase a home. Find a Realtor® you like and stick with them. They will be looking out for your interests as their client. They have a duty to you to protect your interests.

Myth 2. That we are paid by the company we are associated with like an hourly or salaried employee or something.

Mythbuster 2. No! We get paid at the closing table once we have sold your house or found you a home to buy. Strictly on a commission only basis.

If your Realtor® seems to be going that extra mile for you, (they are).

Myth 3. Because Gammon Realty has competitive commission rates, does that make us less than a full service Company.

Mythbuster 3. No definitely not, Gammon Realty is a full Service (Bend over backwards for you) Real Estate Company. We help you through all the process of home buying and selling, and it does not end after that, we keep in touch with our clients after the sale.

Myth 4. If I list my house with you at a competitive commission does that mean other Realtors® will not want to show my house because they will not make as much commission.

Mthbuster 4. First of all it is against the law (Price Fixing) that any Realtor® imply this to a potential client in order to get a listing of a higher commission. Commissions are negotiable. If a Realtor® has told you this and it is not lawful, would you want them representing you?

2^nd of all Even Our reduced commission rate plans offer a 3% commission rate to the cooperating Broker only our rate is reduced.

By our company taking the reduced side of the commission this helps to motivate the agent listing your home to find the buyer for you.

Myth 5 For Sale By Owners , FSBOS or unrepresented sellers as realtors like to call them. I tried to sell it myself but the only people that came buy were realtors.
